Our Founder and President Nan Kreamer has been working with entrepreneurial companies as a full-time CFO, a part-time CFO or Interim CFO for over twenty years.
Nan started her career with Price Waterhouse and moved into corporate America where she was instrumental in shaping global financial management organizations, assisting management teams in growing businesses, turnaround management, creating infrastructure and securing debt facilities.
Prior to founding Avenue CFO, Nan held positions as Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Controller for various companies ranging from $2 billion in sales to startups.Further, Nan has been involved in mergers and acquisitions, leading the due diligence teams for acquisitions and pitching buyers/investors for divestitures.

Nan saw a need that many growing entrepreneurial companies would benefit from “big business” strategies but many are not in a position to pay “big business” salaries. That was the impetus for which she founded Avenue CFO Services.
Avenue has found a way to serve the needs of businesses that have a real need for a CFO but are either not ready to employ a seasoned CFO on a full-time basis, ones that need to turn around the business or ones that need a strategic partner to help identify the right path forward.
OUR COMFORT ZONE
Businesses that match our intended target are those that want to maximize cash flow and improve profits. We have served startups and businesses at various stages of their growth including businesses with revenues ranging from $1 million to $75 million in annual sales. As such, Avenue CFO’s functions as a strategic partner to the CEO and senior management team for their clients. Services to client companies may be in the oversight of the financial team or working with the management teams and their support staff to identify ways to increase profitability, provide analysis to Board of Director members, help raise capital, support sales and marketing and other projects. Clients have been private-equity funded portfolio companies, owner-operated and publicly held companies.
REVENUE SWEET SPOT
A good fit for us is companies with annual revenue in excess of $1M, ones with aggressive plans for growth, and companies looking to fully grasp their financial status.
